Proactive asset management

Many organizations suffer from poor control and limited information about their installed base of tech devices. It is costly and, in some cases, GDPR/security-related issues occur when the location is unknown, or a device lacks a proper cost center or user. So-called “ghost devices” can be up to 10 % of the total number of registered devices within an organization.

What we offer
We have implemented tools and services to map, identify and manage an organization’s complete suite of devices. The purpose of this service can be several but in general related to the following areas:

How it works
The service collects data from customers’ devices which, combined with asset data, gives insight into the devices. The data collection is mainly from device management tools via an app that reads the data. The app analyzes the deviations such as status, performance, user, and location. Based on this information, the decision can be made to optimize the IT environment.

This management service can be implemented or performed before fully introducing a device-related service or optimizing the fleet of devices during an ongoing service.
